How We Work

How We Work

Our job is to make consumer decisions easier to understand—not to create urgency or imply that one option will be right for everyone.

Our editorial process

  1. Choose a useful question. We start with the practical questions people face before a purchase or comparison.
  2. Use reliable sources. We prioritize official agencies, regulators, provider documentation and primary materials where possible.
  3. Explain the trade-offs. We avoid presenting price alone as the whole answer when coverage, eligibility or service may differ.
  4. Review for clarity. We aim to identify material limitations and note when rules vary by state or provider.
  5. Correct transparently. When a meaningful factual error is identified, we correct it and update the page where appropriate.

Commercial relationships
